Online platform for investors in Southeast Europe to launch in 2017

As of 2017, investors that wish to invest in Southeast Europe will be able to see all the relevant business information about towns and municipalities in one place – a unique online platform that is being developed by the Regional BFC SEE Network and NALED with the support from the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC).

The platform was presented at the forum titled “BFC SEE 2020 – Business Friendly Standard in Southeast Europe”, which was attended by the representatives of institutions and business communities of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Croatia, Macedonia and Serbia that are implementing the Business Friendly Certification programme in Southeast Europe.

According to NALED, investors will have access to municipal data, contacts, information about conditions for doing business, different databases and promotional materials. This new IT tool will give them an opportunity to compare investment conditions and rank the municipalities from five countries that have the business friendly certificate.

BFC SEE is a unique programme that will increase the quality of services and information that towns and municipalities offer to companies. Local self-governments will also get clear guidelines about creating a good business friendly environment and implement internationally recognized standards for efficient and transparent local administration.

A small favour

Since 2013, Serbian Monitor has been offering to its readers carefully selected news about the Republic of Serbia, as a daily commitment stemming from the genuine desire to offer undistorted information about a country that is too often a victim of prejudice and superficiality. From November 2016, this service is available in English and Italian with a growing number of original articles with a goal of providing a complete picture of this Balkan country's economy, politics, culture and society. Our archive is completely free of charge, available to anyone who wants to get to know the country, to study its specific aspects, or to be constantly updated about it. This project will only be able to continue with the help of readers on whom we are calling to provide a small financial support so that we can continue supplying an increasingly expanding pool of information and original contributions.
