Novi Sad among the best small towns in Europe

Nomad Capitalist compiled a list of the best small European cities that provide the most peaceful life. While many people like the hustle and bustle of city life, most are interested in quiet cities with a high living standard and low taxes, Nomad says.

The list consists of Plovdiv (Bulgaria), Portimao (Portugal), Andorra la Vella (Andorra), Tivat (Montenegro) and Novi Sad.

“If you want the beauty of Monaco, but hope to live a quieter life, then Tivat (Montenegro) is ideal for you. It has everything you could ever want, including a yacht club and a population of barely 14,000 people,” Nomad Capitalist wrote about Tivat.

And what did they say about Novi Sad?

“If you want to live on the outskirts of Europe, but in a country with great development potential, then Serbia is the right place for you. The capital Belgrade has a great atmosphere, but the real gem of Serbia is Novi Sad. In the summer, it is an idyllic place to live. Beautiful nature surrounds every street and the prices are affordable compared to Europe,” Nomad Capitalist writes and adds:

“It may not be the most dynamic city, but it’s beautiful with easy access to Belgrade, which is more crowded if that’s what you’re looking for.”
