An exhibition dedicated to Nikola Tesla was opened at the Tribina Mladih Club at the Cultural Centre of Novi Sad in collaboration with the Museum of Nikola Tesla from Belgrade.
The exhibition titled “Nikola Tesla – In his and our time” will be opened until 13th May.
The exhibition shows working models of Tesla’s most important inventions, including an induction engine called “Columbus Egg”, which Tesla showed at the World Expo in Chicago in 1893, and Tesla’s transformer, which is the basis for researching high-frequency currents and a cornerstone of the idea of wireless transmission of energy, as well as a mockup of Nikola Tesla’s laboratory, located in Long Island, New York.
The opening was attended by Miloš Vučević, Mayor of Novi Sad, Dalibor Rožić, member of the City Council for Culture, Ivona Jevtić, Director of the Museum of Nikola Tesla, and Bojan Panaotović, director of the Cultural Centre of Novi Sad.
