The announcement that Nick Cave will have a concert in Belgrade this year has appeared on the official Facebook page of Eventim Serbia, one of the biggest concert ticket vendors in the country.
In the meantime, the Blic daily has unofficially found out that the famous Australian musician is supposed to have a concert at Kombank Arena in October, during his tour promoting his latest album Skeleton Tree which holds a special significance for Cave. It is during the work on this album that he suffered a great personal tragedy when his 15-year-old son Arthur died in an accident. Cave talks about this tragic event in Andrew Dominick’s documentary called “One More Time With Feeling”.
The last time Nick Cave performed in Belgrade was on 4th June, 2008, and the last time he performed in Serbia was at EXIT Festival in 2013.
For now, no information about the Belgrade concert can be found on Nick Cave’s official website. He is due to have a concert in Perth, Australia today, and in Canada and the US in June.
