New restrictive measures for bars and nightclubs coming soon

The government’s Crisis Unit will evaluate new measures on Thursday due to the poor epidemiological situation and the increasing number of new cases in Serbia.

In the last 24 hours, 8,397 people were tested, 1,318 were positive and 11 people died from COVID-19.

The first and main topic of discussion, as reported in the press, could be opening hours of bars and nightclubs, for which the complete closure or a reduction of the time until 8 or 9 p.m. is considered as one of the measures.

At the last session of the Crisis Unit, which was held last week, the recommendation was to ban the gatherings of more than five people, both outdoors and indoors. In addition, the autumn school break is going to last from 11 to 15 November both in elementary and high schools.
