The Centre for Digital Transformation (CDT) of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, in cooperation with the Ministry of Economy, is launching a programme to support the digital transformation of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and has invited companies to apply for grants ranging from 6,000 to 12,000 euros.
This programme, which will be launched for the third consecutive time, focuses on improving the competitiveness of SMEs and enables companies to elevate their business to a higher level with the help of digital transformation experts by introducing modern tools, a press release says. All companies employing between 5 and 249 workers are eligible to participate, and the programme is open until the grant funds are exhausted.
As explained, the grant of up to 6,000 euros is equal to the amount the company is ready to invest in digital transformation processes.
“If the company invests, for example, 6,000 euros, in the purchase of appropriate software or hardware, the CDT will determine a non-repayable grant of the same amount. If the company decides to implement solutions based on artificial intelligence (AI), in that case, it is entitled to a grant of 12,000 euros,” said CDT Director Predrag Nikolic.
