Finance Minister, Sinisa Mali, announced that the state is preparing additional economic measures that will focus on creating new jobs.
Part of the measures will concern the reduction or total exemption for the employer from paying salary tax and contributions for new employees, plus a direct subsidy for each new employee recruited.
“We will inform the public about the new measures in a few days. We are currently considering about 20 of them and they will be announced soon,” Mali told journalists while visiting Vranje.

The Minister also underlined that the fact that the state is considering new economic measures shows how actively it is dealing with economic policy.
“Previous regulations were used to reduce the negative consequences of the coronavirus on the economy, but now we are thinking about the next steps and how to boost the creation of new jobs,” concluded Mali.
