MV Investment is the new owner of the Jugoslavija Hotel

The MV Investment Company, which is 100% owned by the Millennium Team Company, bought today at a public auction the iconic Belgrade hotel, Jugoslavija.

MV Investment was the only participant in the auction that required a deposit of 1.27 billion dinars.

Journalists were allowed to attend the auction, but filming and photographing were not allowed. The explanation is that the auction was conducted as court proceedings.

The relevant spatial plan foresees the hotel’s reconstruction and the construction of two 155-meter-high towers.

MV Investment and its owners, Ivan Bošnjak and Stojan Vujko, who are said to be close to the current Finance Minister, Siniša Mali, also own fifteen other companies in the country and the region, as well as the Jaroslav Černi Water Institute. The KRIK investigative website reported that companies owned by Bošnjak and Vujko did dozens of state-funded project which in 2021 alone, were worth 12 million euros.
