More than 60 documentary and feature films will be screened at the 18th Free Zone (Slobodna Zona) Film Festival, which opens tomorrow, November 3, with the Serbian premiere of the film “Triangle of Sadness”.
Ruben Ostlund’s last film, which won the Palme d’Or in Cannes, aroused so much interest that the screening, scheduled for November 3 at MTS Dvorana at 6:30 p.m., was sold out, with another screening – the same evening at 9 o’clock – added.
Zlatko Burić, one of the main actors in “Triangle of Sadness”, along with Hollywood star Woody Harrelson, accepted the Festival’s invitation to be its guest of honour Rajko Petrović, the Festival’s director, has confirmed.
One of the festival’s segments will be dedicated to the iconic Italian actress Monica Vitti and her cooperation with the film director Michelangelo Antonioni, who directed four of her films.
The Festival will last from 3rd to 23rd November and the list of films that will be screened can be found here.
If you are unable to attend the screenings and if you live in Serbia, all the screened films will be available on the Kino Kauch website, once the festival finishes.
