The number of tourist arrivals in November this year is higher than in the same month in 2020 by 86.4 percent, and the number of overnight stays in the same period is higher by 51.9 percent, the State Bureau of Statistics says.
Most of the tourists visited Belgrade, Zlatibor and Vrnjacka Banja.
According to published data, the number of overnight stays of domestic tourists increased by 29.3 percent, and foreign tourists by 114.2 percent.
During November 2021, 113,019 domestic and 70,043 foreign tourists stayed in Serbia.
Belgrade is still the most popular destination with tourists (56,915 visits), mainly foreign ones, with 43,559 of them visiting the Serbian capital.
In second place is Zlatibor, which was visited by 14,726 tourists, while Vrnjacka Banja is in third place, with 13,663 tourists.
