It is now certain that the school year will start on time, that is on 1st September, as stipulated in the Educational Work Calendar for the 2022/23 school year – the Ministry of Education told Danas daily.
The meeting of the Ministry’s School Group will be held tomorrow, which will discuss preventive and sanitary measures and recommendations in relation to the coronavirus epidemic.
The Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development will inform schools and the public in a timely manner about possible changes regarding the implementation of preventive measures to combat the Covid-19 virus and the organization of classes, the Ministry states.
Some epidemiologists have suggested for the beginning of the new school year be moved by at least 10 days due to the current situation with the coronavirus, but the Ministry has rejected that suggestion.
