One of the world’s most renowned bass guitarists, Marco Mendoza, is returning to Belgrade! The former member of Whitesnake, Thin Lizzy, and The Dead Daisies will perform on 4 September at Club Fest in Zemun as part of his current ‘New Direction’ tour.
Following a stellar concert at Fest in April 2022, Mendoza is set to appear before the Belgrade audience once again – this time with new music and an album featured on his ongoing tour. The band Blek Box will perform as special guests for the evening.
The American musician of Mexican heritage boasts an impressive career spanning nearly four decades. He launched his musical journey in the late 1980s, collaborating with former Black Sabbath drummer Bill Ward on his solo album. Over the years, he has played with bands including Alias, Blue Murder, Thin Lizzy, Black Star Riders, Whitesnake, and The Dead Daisies. He has also performed with Journey and collaborated with numerous legendary names on the global rock scene.
His return to Fest promises exactly what a club gig should be: intimate, loud, and full of pure rock ’n’ roll.
