Mali: Payment of financial aid via dedicated accounts at Poštanska Štedionica Bank

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Siniša Mali announced today that all adult citizens will be able to check whether they are registered in the Shareholder Fund via the Treasury Administration portal at idp.trezor.gov.rs from 7 September, to determine whether they are eligible for a one-off financial aid payment of 6,000 dinars from that fund.

Writing on his Instagram account, Mali stated that Serbian citizens who are not eligible to receive money from the Shareholder Fund will have the funds paid out from the state budget. They will need to register via the Treasury Administration website (idp.trezor.gov.rs) from 7 September, using a valid national ID card.

He added that for citizens who do not have a bank account, dedicated accounts will be opened at Poštanska Štedionica Bank for the disbursement of this aid. He further noted that if the payout comes from the budget, the money will be available to withdraw over the next year, whereas if it comes from the Shareholder Fund, there is no deadline for withdrawal.

Additionally, pensioners and recipients of financial social assistance do not need to register for the 6,000 dinars, as the money will be paid to them automatically.

Mali also wrote on Instagram that recipients of the child allowance will receive 25,000 dinars as early as 14 September. He specified that they do not need to apply for that particular payment, but they do need to apply for the 6,000 dinars via the Treasury Administration address (idp.trezor.gov.rs) starting 7 September.

Regarding the application procedure for deceased persons – specifically how heirs will claim the 6,000 dinars – Mali wrote that “there will be no need for them to apply, as the money will be paid out to them automatically.”
