Luxury hotel, residential skyscrapers and marina to be built in the location of Jugoslavija Hotel

In late March, the Jugoslavija Hotel was sold to the MV Investment Company from Belgrade, a daughter company of Millennium Team, at an initial price of RSD 3.18 billion, that is, around EUR 27.1 million, (which is 50% of the estimated value of RSD 6.53 billion or EUR 54.2 million).

MV Investment was the only bidder at the auction.

Now, according to the plan drafted by Cube Partners from Belgrade and publicly presented by the Belgrade Secretariat for Urban Planning of Construction, the Jugoslavija Hotel will be torn down and a new luxury hotel with a casino, two residential skyscrapers and a marina will be built in its place.

The future residential/business complex will have a planned gross developed floor area of a total of 240,000 square metres and a planned number of tenants of 1,150.

Apart from offices, the complex will also have 410 apartments, underground garages, a square with fountains, a luxury hotel with restaurants, conference halls, a playroom for children, a gym, a spa, a hair and beauty salon, a pool, branded stores and gardens.

The hotel will have five stars and will accommodate up to 200 people.

The Jugoslavija Hotel has been built 55 years ago and is one of the Belgrade landmarks. As its structure cannot accommodate an underground garage and since the existing number of floors is below the standard of a highest-category hotel, the Jugoslavija Hotel will probably be demolished.
