Representatives of the Chinese company Linglong have presented the plan for the opening of their tire factory in Zrenjanin at the meeting with the president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić. The factory will launch its operations in the spring.
As announced by the President’s cabinet, Linglong’s executives pointed out that they were satisfied with the conditions of doing business in Serbia, that they were ready to invest in Serbia by employing even more people than originally planned and that they would comply with the relevant environmental protection standards.
Vučić underlined that the opening of another Chinese company in Serbia “is an additional validation of the extraordinary relations between the two countries” and reminded China was one of its biggest trade partners of Serbia.
The meeting was also attended by the Chinese ambassador to Serbia, H.E. Chen Bo.
