Lidl to open two more supermarkets in Serbia

After nearly half a year of successful operations and the opening of the first 23 supermarkets in Serbia, Lidl continues to expand its network by opening another two facilities.

The new supermarkets, one in Belgrade, in Labudovo Brdo, at 11v, Patrijarha Joanikija Street, and one in Cacak, at 1, Beogradska Street, will be opened on March 14th.

As is the case with other stores, the two new supermarkets will stock a carefully selected range of products and discount prices of select articles.

“As we’ve promised, we are continuing to expand our network of supermarkets in 2019. The stores in Labudovo Brdo and Cacak are the first ones to be opened this year. As before, we will try to demonstrate to our customers that we offer the best price/quality ratio and to present them with all the advantages of the unique Lidl concept. We have prepared discount prices for the opening day, March 14th”, said the head of corporate communications at Lidl Serbia, Martina Petrovic.

The shoppers who come to the new supermarkets on the opening day will be given the opportunity to test their knowledge of Lidl’s products and win interesting prizes by taking part in the Wheel of Knowledge quiz.

The new Lidl stores will have close to 1,500 products on their shelves, plus 350 locally sourced products.

Discount offers will be available to shoppers on the opening day. The new Lidl stores in Belgrade and Cacak will be open seven days a week, from 8 am to 10 pm.
