Lena Kovacevic, Orthodox Celts, Neverne Bebe, the Kolibri Choir, Roman Simovic and St George String Orchestra are just some of the performers that will showcase their talents at the upcoming Belgrade Summer Festival (BELEF), which will be held in the Serbian capital from 22nd June to 15th July.
“We are going to have 25 different events at the Festival. Of this, 12 classic and popular music concerts. We are also staging four dramas and the same number of theatre performances, three children’s programmes and two exhibitions “, the Festival’s artistic director of the festival, Aleksandar Ilic says.
The Festival will be officially opened at Kombank Arena on 22nd June by the International Prodigy Orchestra and Choir from the Republic of China. They will be accompanied by the Belgrade Opera principal singer, Jasmina Trumbetas-Petrovic. Before the concert, the Institute for Artistic Dance will stage a performance in front of Kombank Arena, on the Nikola Pasic Square.
The world-renowned violinist, Roman Simovic will close the festival, and will perform together with the St George String Orchestra in Kolarac.
