The new Fiat 500 Giardiniera, which should replace the 500L model in the market, will most probably be produced in Serbia, reports the specialized Italian site clubalfa.it.
The report, citing the Fiat management, says that Giardiniera will most probably be produced at the Fiat Chrysler factory in Kragujevac, where the 500L model is produced now.
As Politika reports, the production of Giardiniera should start in 2021 at the latest. The car will most probably have an electric option as well.

However, the official confirmation by Fiat Chrysler Group is still pending, since it has been assumed that the Kragujevac plant will be in charge of producing this new crossover model in the B segment.
FIAT will focus strongly on the 500 family in the next period, particularly with the next generation of 500X crossovers. The decision will be made in the coming months as the new models are expected to start being produced by 2021.
The main changes in the series will be electrification, as the next generation of 500 but also the Panda will be electric.
