Katapult’s public call for funding of innovative start-ups open by 15 September

The Innovation Activity Fund has launched a public call for a new round of allocation of funds under the auspices of the Katapult programme for innovative start-ups.

Under the programme, the best start-ups will receive three months of mentoring and grants of EUR 20,000 (for the ‘Ideation’ category of companies) or up to EUR 50,000 (for the ‘Scale-up’ category of companies), it was announced on the Fund’s website.

Applications for all companies which are active in all areas of science and technology as well as industry should be submitted via the Katapult website until 15 September 2022, at 15:00. Companies that join this programme will also have the opportunity to work with more than 30 experienced international and local mentors in order to improve their business and acquire new skills to attract private investment.

Additional financial support of up to EUR 300,000 in grants is available for start-ups that secure a qualified investment within nine months. As a reminder, the Katapult community started to form after the first public call last year, when 19 innovative start-ups were selected as recipients of financial support.
