The monthly inflation in July in Serbia was 0.2 percent, while on the annual level, it was 3.3 percent, the State Statistical Office (SSO) said on Thursday.
Compared to December 2020, the cost of personal consumption increased by an average of 3.7 percent in July.
In comparison to the previous month, higher prices were recorded in alcoholic beverages and tobacco (2.2 percent), recreation and culture (2.1 percent), transport (1.6 percent), restaurants and hotels (0.6 percent), furniture, and accommodation bills (0.3 percent).
The fall in prices was recorded in food and non-alcoholic beverages (0.9 percent) and clothing and footwear (0.7 percent).
The prices of other products and services have not changed significantly, the SSO said.
