The iconic Croatian singer, Josipa Lisac is going to give a concert tomorrow, 14th February, at 8:30 pm, in Belgrade’s Sava Centre.
She will be accompanied by the Zagreb-based band, Chui. Music critics declared the band’s third album “Third Sun from the Stone” as the best in Croatia in 2015.
Josipa Lisac’s career spans 50 years and she is known hits like “Magla“, „Hir, hir, hir“, „Gdje Dunav ljubi nebo“, „Boginja“ and „Danas sam luda“. Besides being a top act of the Croatian popular music, she was also highly acclaimed in the former Yugoslav rock scene. Lisac is known for her strong voice and unique sense of fashion. In the first ever Croatian rock opera, Gubec Beg she took on the demanding role of Jana, and her interpretation of the aria “Ave Maria” awed audiences so much that it became the permanent fixture at Josipa’s concerts.
Equally charismatic while interpreting the works of classical music as when showing her more rebellious side in rock-hits, Josipa Lisac is loved by generations old and new.
The tickets are available for sale at Sava Centre’s box office and www.Eventim.rs , and the prices range from 1,800 dinars to 2,800 dinars.
