The Italian company Metal.Ri is interested in investing in a factory on the territory of the northern Serbian province of Vojvodina.
This was confirmed at a seminar titled “New Trends in Construction” that took place in the Vojvodinian Parliament and was organized by the Provincial Secretariat for Energy, Construction and Transport.
“By organizing this seminar the Secretariat wanted to contribute to connecting Italian company, Metal.Ri, which produces EU-patented lightweight precast for traditional building systems, with our companies and the representatives of the Faculty of Technical Sciences from Novi Sad”, said Provincial Secretary, Nenad Grbic.
He underlined that the Italian company was willing to invest in a factory on the territory of Vojvodina, and thus create business opportunities for suppliers and new jobs.
At the seminar, the proprietor of Metal.Ri, Vito Rizzi presented the company’s innovative construction technology which significantly cuts the time in construction of buildings, bridges, shopping malls and other facilities.
Mr. Rizzi also said that it was important for the construction professionals to get acquainted with the latest construction solutions created by Metal.Ri. The next stage would be setting up one or two factories that would benefit both sides, Italian and Serbian – Mr. Rizzi added.
