Italy’s La Linea Verde to open a factory in Dobrinci

The Italian company La Linea Verde plans to open a factory in Dobrinci in late December, says the president of the Municipality of Ruma, Sladjan Mancic.

He adds that the factory is “95% complete”, and that the investment is yet another proof of the fact the the municipality is developing and progressing at a fast pace, Sremska TV reports.

This is a vegetable processing and packing plant in which  La Linea Verde plans to employ close to 150 people.

Not only the Italian company will hire over 100 workers, but they will also be given an opportunity to sell their own vegetables to the company.

As previously reported, the factory will primarily produce and pack dish-salads, as well as ready-to-consume salads. The investment is worth around EUR 8 million in the first stage of the project. The also plan includes erecting a plastic greenhouse on around 20 hectares of land around the factory.
