Italian company, Miroglio has expressed interest in taking over the textile company AHA Mura Prvi Maj from Pirot – the Plus Online website finds out.
The website, which is based in Pirot, says that the representatives of Miroglio came to Pirot recently in order to investigate the capacities and technical equipment at the Pirot textile company. Also, the deadline for payment of a deposit that confirms interest in acquiring Prvi Maj expires today.
Previously, AHA Mura Prvi Maj was offered for sale in April this year, with Pirot Free Zone being the only company submitting a bid. However, the offered price of 127 million dinars was 50% lower than the estimated value of the factory’s assets (631 million dinars), hence, the company’s Board of Creditors rejected the offer.
The Miroglio Group, which was founded in the Italian town of Alba in 1947, is a leading Italian industrial company that operates in the fashion and textile industries on a global scale. It operates in 34 countries, and has over 1,200 retail outlets.
