Famous Italian pianist and composer, Alessandra Celletti, will perform in a concert in Belgrade on February 25 at the Kolarac Music Gallery. She will perform compositions by Erik Satie and Gurdjieff / De Hartmann, as well as several of her own compositions.
Celletti, who is considered the avant-garde of classical music, is also known for her performances of the music composed by Claude Debussy, Maurice Ravel, Baldassare Galuppi, Gurdjieff / De Hartmann, John Cage and others. She has performed worldwide, in Europe, Africa, Asia and America. She is also known for her concert performances throughout Italy under the title “The Piano on the Road”, during which she gave free concerts on a stage mounted on a travelling truck. Celletti travelled thousands of kilometres on the truck and played in the most beautiful places in the hidden parts of Italy. She was also the subject of a documentary film that won several awards at the festivals.
The concert is held in Serbia as part of numerous cultural, scientific and economic events marking the 140th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Italy and Serbia and 10 years since the establishment of a strategic partnership between Rome and Belgrade.
The entrance is free, but the number of seats is limited so prior registration on the official website of the Italian Institute of Culture in Belgrade is required.
