The Italian Film Days will take place from October 24 to 28 in Belgrade, Novi Sad and Niš.
The event, which will be held for the first time in our country, is organized by Cinecittà, one of the most important European film and photographic archives, the Italian Institute for Culture and mts Dvorana with the support of the Ministry of Culture, the Municipality of Stari Grad and the Embassy of Italy.
The Italian Film Days will showcase the latest achievements of Italian cinematography with a special segment dedicated to Federico Fellini, the maestro of Italian cinematography (on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the death of the famous director, as well as the 60th anniversary of his film “Eight and a Half”).
H.E. Luca Gori, ambassador of the Republic of Italy in Serbia, Roberto Cincotta, director of the Italian Institute of Culture in Belgrade, and Cristina Cassano and Monica Moscato from Cinecittà, spoke at a press conference held on October 18 in the MTS Hall.
Ambassador Gori said at the conference:”I have been in Serbia for a little over a year now and I see how relations between our two countries are developing, of which culture is certainly a key element. I would like to thank Cinecittà for organizing this event together with Igor Stanković from MegaCom Film and the Italian Institute of Culture. Cinecittà studio is an icon in world cinema and in the promotion of Italian contemporary cinema worldwide. Film is a very important component in the relations between Italy and Serbia…”
