The Italian company, Italia Living, based in Bari, which has a long tradition in the production of upholstered furniture, will open a production facility in a southern Serbian town of Vranje, in the premises of the former Spilit, according to the town of Vranje’s official website.
Vranje Mayor Slobodan Milenkovic met with Italia Living’s director, Piero Carbonara who pointed out that they chose Vranje as a production location because of the competitive advantages it has in the furniture industry, compared to other cities in Serbia.

New equipment from Italy will be installed in the new production facility. 50 people will be employed by year-end and 100 more in the next phase.
