Israel’s Nofar to build the biggest solar power plant in Serbia

The Nofar Adria Company, with headquarters registered in Belgrade, whose majority owner is the Israeli company Nofar Energy, will present the project of the construction of a solar power plant in Ada on May 27 in Belgrade.

As announced, this is the biggest solar power plant in Serbia, with a total power of 26 megawatts.

The investment is worth EUR 30 million, with an estimated annual production of electrical energy of 33,150,000 kWh.

The plant will span 30 hectares and will be located in Ada.

It has been announced that the official ceremony of the laying down of the foundation stone at the Hotel Hilton in Belgrade will be attended by Yoav Shafrir, the general manager of Nofar Adria, Yahel Vilan, the ambassador of Israel to Serbia, and Dubravka Djedovic Handanovic, the minister of energy of Serbia.

Nofar is one of the biggest commercial and industrial solar companies in the world, with over 2,000 projects in Italy, Israel & the USA, generating +481MW of renewable energy.
