Unofficially, the first country where Primark could open its shop is Bulgaria. The company’s representatives have already started negotiations on possible locations for their facilities in other countries, although at the moment, that is the only available information about Primark’s expansion.

The company was founded in 1969 and currently operates more than 390 retail centres in Austria, Belgium, Poland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Slovenia, Great Britain and the United States.
Most of the shops span between 5 and 10 thousand square meters. In 2019, Primark entered the Slovenian market. Primark’s clothes is made in Bangladesh, India, Turkey and Romania.
