Roaming charges will be reduced for all users from July 1 to December 31 (the first phase) with a minute of an outgoing call costing around 11 dinars, which is more than 60% down from earlier price.
The price of a text message will be reduced to 4 dinars, or by more than 50 per cent, while the price of a megabyte of the Internet in roaming will be reduced to close to 4 dinars.
According to RATEL, mobile telephony operators are required to reduce roaming prices in the Western Balkans. Also, there will be no charges associated with establishing a call, as before. Also, no additional fees will be charged for incoming messages and voicemail messages in roaming.

Outgoing calls will be charged per second, with operators applying an initial minimum billing period that cannot be longer than 30 seconds.
Data transfer charges in roaming will be applied per kilobyte, with the exception of MMS that will be charged per unit.
According to the Agreement signed by Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications, Rasim Ljajic, on behalf of the Serbian government, the maximum price of roaming in the Western Balkans region should be reduced to the prices valid in the European Union by 2021 the latest, with a transitional period starting on July 1st, 2019.
Roaming charges for the Western Balkan countries will be completely abolished on July 1, 2021.
