The international fast painting competition, Art Battle, will take place in Belgrade, in Dorćol Platz, tomorrow evening.
Painting live in front of an audience is an interesting discipline, and it is even more interesting when it takes place in parallel in various cities around the world, including Belgrade.
The competition is essentially a game in which both the artists and the audience participate. The performance serves to bring one of the most beautiful forms of creation closer to people in more than 50 cities around the world including Belgrade. “We should all fight together to make art more appreciated and accepted,” said event organiser Miona Čolović from Toronto.
The competition has three rounds lasting 20 minutes each. While 12 artists are painting, the audience will have the opportunity to enjoy a unique performance, cheer for them along with the music, and choose the winner.
The following artists will take part in the competition which takes place in Dorćol Platz, tomorrow, at 8 p.m. – Dijana Vujačić, Matan Vukčević, Dušanka Glumac, Aleksandar Petrović, Jasmina Trifunović, Ivana Knežević, Lazar Živković, Kristina Marković, Andy de Calzadilla, Tara Novčić, Emilijana Marković and Julija Stojanović.
You can vote for your favourite artist during the event itself, as well as bid for a painting. Voting and auctions take place via the official Art Battle app, which you can download for free from Google Play or the Apple Store
