Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Construction, Zorana Mihajlovic said yesterday that she expects the intercity traffic to resume as of next week, followed by suburban and city public transport.
“We can resume all of it at once but we will rather do it in coordination with cities and epidemiologists who will determine how many people can be on a train or a bus at the same time. We will resume public transport gradually,” Mihajlovic told the Tanjug news agency.
“I expect, the intercity public transport to resume gradually as of next week,” she added.

She also said that the anti-corona measures were being relaxed in line with the current situation and doctors’ recommendations.
“We are going to implement new measures but we first need to see how the epidemiological situation will develop,” Mihajlovic said, adding that the government would follow the experts’ instructions.
