Inflation in Serbia rose by 0.6% in February compared to January, up 1.9% compared to February 2019, according to the State Statistical Office. Consumer prices increased on average by 1.2% compared to February 2019.
Relative to the previous month, in February, telecommunication prices rose by 3.8%, alcoholic beverages and tobacco by 2.5%, food and soft drinks by 1.2, cultural activities by 0.8% and prices of furniture, household goods and routine maintenance, as well as restaurant and hotel services by 0.2% each.

Prices of clothing and footwear fell by 2.6%, transport by 0.7% and housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuel by 0.1%.
Prices of other products and services have not changed significantly.
