In Serbia, in September this year, the prices of personal consumer products and services that are used to measure inflation were on average 0.5% lower than the previous month, while compared to the same month last year, they increased by 1.8%, the State Statistics Office (RZS) announced yesterday.
Compared to December 2019, inflation was 1%.
In September, the following prices fell – recreational and cultural services (by 6.4%), food and soft drinks (0.5%), clothing and footwear (0.3%), alcoholic beverages and tobacco, furniture and housing maintenance (0.1%).

Price growth was recorded in communications services (0.9%), as well as in housing, water, electricity, gas and other types of fuel, transport, health and education (0.1% each).
