The average net salary in Serbia in November 2020 was 60,926 dinars, the State Statistical Office said.
The average salary is nominally 8.2% higher and realistically 6.4% higher than in the same month last year.
The median gross salary in November was 84,201 dinars, which represents an increase of 8.1% in nominal terms and 6.3% in real terms year-on-year.
The median net salary in November was 46,861 dinars, meaning that 50% of employees earned up to that amount.
The growth of gross wages in January-November 2020, compared to the same period last year, was 9.4% in nominal terms, or 7.7% in real terms, while net wages over 11 months increased by 9.3% in nominal terms and 7.6% in real terms.
Belgrade still leads in salaries; here, the average net salary in November was 75,649 dinars. Employees in the municipalities of Vracar, Stari Grad and Novi Beograd have the highest incomes.
