Immofinanz opens shopping mall in Pozarevac

Austrian company Immofinanz has started constructing its fifth shopping mall in Serbia – the TiMP website reports.

The newest shopping mall called Stop Shop is located in Pozarevac, spans 7,200 square metres and has over 300 parking spots. The opening is scheduled for April 2018, and the mall will house 16 Serbian and international brands including Reserved and LC Waikiki. This retail facility, which is worth around 10 million EUR, will also have a supermarket. The plan is to open a cinema too, at a later stage, that will span 3,000 square metres.

“The experiences we had with building similar facilities in other Serbian towns have given us courage to continue expanding”, Josko Pitesa, operations manager at Immofinanz Serbia says.

The shopping mall in Pozarevac will be located in the Djura Djakovica Street, and have a direct access to one of the main traffic routes in the town, as well as a motorway exit.

Mayor of Pozarevac, Bane Spasojevic says that that investment is very important for all people living in Branicevski County, and that close to 300 people will be employed in the mall.

Immofinanz has already built retail facilities in Cacak, Nis, Valjevo and Lazarevac, and, apart from Pozarevac, they are planning to build several more shopping malls across Serbia. Vrsac is the next location for a new Stop Shop, as is Sremska Mitrovica.
