IKEA’s department store in Belgrade will open today, after a month of being closed.
The department store will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on 6 and 7 May, while from 8 May, it is scheduled to be opened every day of the week, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
According to reports, purchases will be organised in such a way as to comply with all security measures such shoppers maintaining distance from each other and use of protective equipment and daily disinfection of the premises, in accordance with the recommendations of the relevant institutions.

“We are glad to see that the situation in the region is improving and that, after Zagreb, we can re-open our department store in Belgrade. We would like to thank all our colleagues who have worked to provide services in this particular situation. Our priority is to open responsibly so that shoppers and employees feel safe when shopping and working. In this regard, we will continue to implement all the safety measures and recommendations,” said Strahinja Urosevic, Director of IKEA Belgrade.
The in-house shop and bar will also resume work on 6 May, and the restaurant is scheduled to open next week. The SMÅLAND children’s playroom remains closed until further notice.
Customers still have a home delivery option and free download of online orders via the “Click and Collect” system.
The collection centre in Novi Sad, where customers can safely collect their online purchases without shipping costs, will also be open on weekdays and Saturdays from 8 am to 4 pm.
