Italian IDEST interested in investing in Cacak

Representatives of the Italian company IDEST, Deputy CEO and Managing Director, Nunzia Montenero and head of IDEST’s branch in Kragujevac, Ivan Savic have met with Mayor of Cacak, Milun Todorovic to discuss cooperation, investments, and joint projects implemented by the town of Cacak and the company.

IDEST is a renowned Italian company founded in Turin in 1999. The Serbian branch was established in Kragujevac in 2010, when the company was hired to work together with Fiat Automobili Serbia on renovating old Zastava’s factory in Kragujevac, and transforming it into a modern production system. The project was worth 71 million EUR and IDEST managed all the reconstruction work on over 350,000 square metres of the future Fiat’s factory. IDEST also managed the activities by 80 subcontractors and close to 2,400 workers. The project was successfully completed in two years.

In Serbia, IDEST performs services like drafting feasibility studies and projects, construction, project management, technical supervision and control of construction works, and document management (issuing of various permits).

A small favour

Since 2013, Serbian Monitor has been offering to its readers carefully selected news about the Republic of Serbia, as a daily commitment stemming from the genuine desire to offer undistorted information about a country that is too often a victim of prejudice and superficiality. From November 2016, this service is available in English and Italian with a growing number of original articles with a goal of providing a complete picture of this Balkan country's economy, politics, culture and society. Our archive is completely free of charge, available to anyone who wants to get to know the country, to study its specific aspects, or to be constantly updated about it. This project will only be able to continue with the help of readers on whom we are calling to provide a small financial support so that we can continue supplying an increasingly expanding pool of information and original contributions.
