Two exceptional musicians with completely different musical styles will perform in the autumn at the Musicology Barcaffè Sessions Belgrade.
As usual, the new season opens with an artist who has already had the opportunity to delight the audiences in Belgrade. She is a world-renowned French-Moroccan singer-songwriter, Hindi Zahra will hold two concerts at Bitefartcafe in Belgrade on 28th and 29th September.
Just over a month later, one of today’s most successful guitarists, Cory Wong, together with the band Vulfpeck, will perform on November 7th, in the same location.
In search of her personal and musical identity, Hindi Zahra, a multi-instrumentalist and free-spirited singer-songwriter, decided to move alone to Marrakech, where she dedicated herself exclusively to artistic creation. She defines these journeys as an escape into the solitude from which her songs were born, created “with ecstasy and imbued with a sense of melancholy”. Hindi’s musical influences come from Cuba, Jordan, Andalusia, Egypt and Italy, as she fuses her experiences into an authentic original musical creation.
In November, one of the best funk guitarists of today, Cory Wong will perform in Belgrade. Known for his improvisational skills and energetic performances, this virtuoso guitarist began his career in Minneapolis playing in jazz clubs before joining the R&B/funk band Vulfpeck in 2015.
