“From today until the end of the week, the air temperature will be slightly lower, but still quite high with above-average temperatures for this time of year,” says Goran Mihajlović, deputy director of the State Hydrometeorological Institute. The maximum temperatures will be between 30 and 35 degrees Celsius.
He adds that above-average temperatures for this time of year can still be expected. “Minimum temperatures will not exceed 20 degrees and maximum temperatures will be between 30 and 35 degrees, which means air temperature is not as high as in previous days, but still above average for this time of year,” Mihajlović says.
Today and tomorrow there will be some rain in hilly and mountainous areas, while in other parts of the country the weather will be dry.
Talking about autumn, the expert says there is a possibility of it being hotter than usual. “As far as autumn weather, we can already say that there is a possibility that temperatures will be above average and that we are going to have a warmer than usual autumn, probably about +1° above the average. As far as precipitation is concerned, so far there are no indications that there will be more of them than average. So, the upcoming autumn will be rainy and warm,” Mihajlović concludes.
