Government allocates another 600mln dinars for works on Saint Sava Temple in Belgrade

The Serbian Government has allocated another 600 million dinars for the continuation of construction work on the Temple of St Sava in Belgrade, according to a decision published in the Official Gazette.

The money from the current budget reserve is a grant to the Serbian Orthodox Church, made via the General Secretariat of the Government of Serbia. The grant comes under the budgetary category “allocation of subsidies to non-governmental organizations”, and the Ministry of Finance was instructed to transfer the money.
