German retail chain TEDI interested in expanding to Serbia

The German retail chain TEDi, which has registered a branch office in Serbia, has confirmed that the Serbian market is very attractive to the company to invest in.

When asked by the Retail Serbia website whether they could predict when they were going to open stores in Serbia, the company says that there is no timeframe for entering the Serbian market, but that they are certainly following developments in attractive markets in Europe which the company has plans to expand to, including Serbia.

TEDi is a leading non-food store chain in Europe. The company is growing constantly and currently has over 3,000 stores with over 30,000 employees. They have stores in 15 European countries – Germany, Austria, Slovenia, Slovakia, Spain, Croatia, Italy, Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania, Portugal, Bulgaria, France and Belgium.

TEDi was founded in 2004 in Dusseldorf and by the end of that year it had a total of 120 opened branch offices throughout Germany. TEDi sells toys, home decor items, pet accessories, decorations, clothing, seasonal products, fashion accessories, cosmetics and sweets.
