French film “Mon Crime” to open this year’s FEST

The latest cinematic creation of the French film director, François Ozon, the crime drama “Mon Crime” (“The Crime is Mine”) will officially open the 51st FEST.

The main characters in the film are played by the young hopefuls of French cinema, Nadia Tereszkiewicz and Rebecca Marder, side by side with renowned French actors such as Isabelle Huppert, Fabrice Luchini, Dany Boon and Andre Dussollier. The film centres around Madeleine Verdier, a penniless actress, who is accused of the murder of a famous producer. With the help of her best friend, she proves that she acted in self-defence, is acquitted of the crime and begins a life of glory and success, until the truth comes to light.
