The State Hydrometeorological Institute (RHMZ) warns about extremely cold weather in Serbia that will last until 1st March.
In the next four days, the morning temperatures will be from -12 to -4 degrees Celsius, while the daily ones will range from -6 to -2. In the northern parts of the country, between 5 and 10 centimetres of snow is expected to fall, and between 10 and 20 cm in other parts. Heavy snow is expected to fall in mountainous areas.
On Monday, the weather will be cloudy, windy, very cold, with snow. The wind will be moderate to strong, and the lowest temperature will range from -7 to -4, and the highest from -5 to -2. The weather in Belgrade will be cloudy, windy, and very cold, with snow. The lowest temperature will be -6, and the highest -3 degrees Celsius.
According to the forecast for the next seven days, the cold weather will persist until Thursday. Somewhat warmer weather – mostly cloudy with occasional rain – is expected on Friday.
