Free admission to the National Museum during the holiday

The National Museum of Serbia announced today that admission will be free from 14 to 16 February, in celebration of Serbia’s Statehood Day.

The Miroslav Gospel will be open to the public over the weekend, on 14 and 15 February.

A talk with a conservator and a guided tour have been organised as an accompanying programme.

On Sunday at 2 p.m., a guided tour will begin, giving visitors the opportunity to learn more about the cultural and historical significance of the Gospel.

On Saturday from 1 p.m., the Memorial Museum of Nadežda and Rastko Petrović will host the programme “On Letter, On Letter”, a guided tour of the permanent exhibition in the form of a game and conversation.

In the programme, the flow of the tour is created spontaneously, with the audience choosing a letter. The story then begins with that letter, guiding visitors through the exhibits, concepts, and associations of the museum space.

In Saturday’s evening slot, the Memorial Museum of Nadežda and Rastko Petrović is hosting the monodrama “Nadežda Petrović – A Life as a Love in Action”, which, due to limited seating, was fully booked in record time.
