The renovated Sava Centre begins its new life on Tuesday, with the International Congress of Nutritionists taking place there. Almost 120 million euros have been spent on renovating this Belgrade landmark.
In addition to the official opening of the Centre, here are other important business events that will take place this week:
- Opening of the Sava Centre on November 14
The most renowned congress and business centre in the region – the Sava Centre – will receive its first visitors on Tuesday after the completion of the first phase of reconstruction. Delta Holding has invested more than 118 million euros in the renovation so far which included a new, energy-efficient façade, replacement of installations and rearrangement of existing space to make it more useful.
- NBS inflation report
On Wednesday, November 15, the National Bank of Serbia (NBS) will release its regular report on inflation that contains information on current and expected price growth, an analysis of macroeconomic trends that determine inflation and an assessment of the effectiveness of monetary policy in the past quarter.
- SEE NPL business forum in Belgrade on November 17
The SEE NPL Forum Vol. 7 dedicated to the topic of non-performing loans in Southeast Europe will be held on November 17 at the Mona Plaza Hotel in Belgrade, as well as online. The seventh edition of the Forum, called Perpetuum Mobile, will be organized under the institutional patronage of the National Association of Appraisers of Serbia (NUPS).
- Wine Vision by the Open Balkans” from November 16 to 19
The wine fair called Wine Vision by the Open Balkans will be held at the Belgrade Fair from November 16 to 19. Around 600 exhibitors are expected to participate in the Fair, including distributors, importers, wholesale and retail chains, as well as customers from the HORECA sector and sales agents, of which 310 are from the Open Balkans member countries (219 from Serbia, 66 from North Macedonia, 25 from Albania) and the rest from different parts of the world.
- New statistics
The State Statistics Office will publish this week consumer price indices for October, as well as the number of building permits issued in September. Price indices of producers of agricultural and fishery products, as well as turnover indices in industry and the results of the household consumption survey in 2022 will be revealed too.
