These are the four important events that will happen this week:
- Opening of the Prokop train station building – The station building of the Prokop railway station in Belgrade will be opened on Friday, October 20. The final activities on the construction and interior design are underway so that after 50 years, the Belgrade Center railway station in Prokop will be completed and made available to passengers. The new station building will span 5,600 square metres and have a variety of commercial facilities such as restaurants, a bank, a pharmacy, cafes… More than 200 passenger trains currently use the Prokop station.
- Annual conference of the Association of Leasing Companies of Serbia – The annual conference of the Association of Leasing Companies of Serbia will be officially open on Wednesday, October 18, with two panel discussions – “Sustainable mobility and green transition” and “Digitalization as the future in leasing”. The conference will be attended by representatives of the leasing industry, international financial institutions and the Serbian business sector.
- SAM Forum – The Serbian Association of Managers (SAM) will hold this year’s Forum of Managers (“Humanization of Business”) on Thursday, October 19, in Belgrade, at TC Galerija. The event is focused on presenting the latest trends in business and this time it will deal with the key aspects of creating a responsible, sustainable business that is focused on people through the experiences of six leaders from Serbia.
- International Book Fair – The biggest regional book fair will take place in Belgrade, from October 21 to 29, in halls 1, 1A, 2A and 4 of the Belgrade Fair. The gates will be open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on the first two and last days of the Fair, while on other days they will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Individual tickets will cost 350 dinars and group tickets 250 dinars. France is this year’s Guest of Honour of the International Book Fair.
