The renowned Swiss chocolate producer, Lindt, has opened its first store in Belgrade (in the city centre), thereby putting Serbia on the retail network map.
The first specialized Lindt store opened recently in Kolarceva Street in Belgrade. In addition to a wide range of premium chocolates, pralines and candy boxes, the offer includes bulk products from the Lindt offer of sweets.
Lindt dates back to 1845, when it opened a pastry shop in Zurich. The retail division of Lindt was founded in 2009 and is now one of the most important departments in the whole group.
The aim of the geographic expansion was to boost Lindt’s presence in urban areas – shopping malls and central city zones. With over 400 retail outlets, Lindt has revenues of over 500 million francs. In our region, Lindt stores can be found in Hungary and Bulgaria, and now in Serbia.
