Last night, the State Electoral Commission (RIK) validated the last two electoral lists “Cedomir Jovanovic – Koalicija za mir” and “Ruska stranka – Slobodan Nikolic”, as both submitted the required number of legally valid voter signatures on time.
The two lists also requested the party or coalition status of a national minority, but RIK rejected the request. Cedomir Jovanovic’s request was rejected as premature, while Nikolic was denied on the grounds that he did not meet the legal requirements.
The Commission itself did not validate the electoral list ‘Socijalizam jedini izlaz – NKPJ – SKOJ’ because it did not correct several shortcomings within the legal deadline. The validity of the electoral list of the citizens’ group ‘Pokret levijatan – Živim za Srbiju’ was also rejected due to omissions concerning the voter list.
