It’s Thursday and time for our report about the cultural and entertainment events coming up in the next few days.
Event: 24th Auteur Film Festival
Place: Kombank Dvorana
Time: from 23rd to 30th November
The festival is returning to its roots and is experiencing a new renaissance in its 24th edition during which a total of 29 auteur films will be shown in the main programme. The Festival will be officially opened on 23rd November, with the winner of the Golden Palm at the Cannes Film Festival – the film “Shoplifters”, directed by Hirokazu Koreeda. The Festival will close on 30th November with the screening of the film “Everybody Knows” directed by Ashghar Farhadi and starring Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem. Event: Whisky Fair Belgrade 3.0
Place: SubBeerni Centar
Time: 24th and 25th November
Third Whisky Fair will take place at SubBeerni Centar (Cetinjska 15, Belgrade), on November 24th and 25th. The leading Serbian whisky importers and distilleries are going to present a wide range of brands. You will be able to taste more than 100 kinds of whisky at one place and to get to know better the culture and the history of one of the most popular beverages throughout the centuries. Plus, visitors can enjoy in various games such as Blackjack and pool, and, like last year, there will be a barbershop for all bearded guys. You will have the opportunity to win the original DechkoTzar t-shirt with Whisky Fair and Belgrade motifs designed by Serbian designers Braća Burazeri. Duo Gitarinet and DJ Ognjen Krstić are in charge for the music programme and great atmosphere.
Event: Serbia Fashion Week
Place: Master Congress Centre, Novi Sad Fair
Time: from 21st to 26th November
Serbia Fashion Week is held twice a year, in April and November, over the course of 7 days, and includes world-renowned global and local fashion designers and applied artists. The second Fashion Week in 2018 will be held at the Master Congress Centre at the Novi Sad Fair. In addition to glamorous fashions shows, seminars and exhibits, Serbia Fashion Week also features the Fashion Talent Design Competition, thanks to which talented young people are given the opportunity to make their first steps in the world of fashion and present their works to the widest audience.
